As well as being a Lido regular, I am a qualified Open Water Coach and experienced cold water swimmer with additional training in running cold water sessions. My goal is to give you the information, support and confidence you need to get what you want out of your winter swims.
The session will be geared around introducing you to safe cold-water swimming, making sure you know what to expect before you get in the water. We will learn how to do a safe, gradual entry and I will support you all the way.
Cold water swimming carries risks so you need to be prepared and it is important to inform the Lido and me of any medical conditions, to bring any medication with you, that you may need. For some conditions, you will need medical clearance before swimming in cold water, so please complete the accompanying form and return it to me ahead of the session to avoid disappointment on the day.
