We are committed to making our facilities accessible and welcoming for everyone.
To support visitors who require assistance due to a disability or additional needs, we offer free entry for a necessary carer.
Who can get a free carer ticket?
A free carer ticket is available when a visitor is unable to safely or reasonably use the facility without support.
The carer must:
- Be accompanying the person they support
- Provide assistance during the visit
Proof of eligibility
To receive a free carer ticket, we may ask for one of the following:
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Attendance Allowance
- Carer’s Allowance letter
- Blue Badge
- Access Card with a +1 symbol
- Disabled ID card or similar documentation
- A letter from a GP, school, or support organisation confirming support needs
We understand that not all disabilities are visible, and our team will always use reasonable discretion where appropriate.
Parent carers
Parents or guardians may qualify for a free carer ticket if their child has a disability or additional needs that require extra supervision or support.
Please note:
Normal parental supervision does not qualify for a free carer ticket.
Number of carers
- One free carer is usually permitted per eligible visitor
- Additional carers may be considered where a higher level of support is required
During your visit
Carers are expected to:
- Remain with the person they support at all times
- Assist them as needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit
