Planning Permission Granted

We are thrilled to announce that we have been granted planning permission for the redevelopment of the lido car park and, most importantly, for stage 3 of our sustainability plan, which includes the installation of solar panels. These panels will generate an impressive 93% of our current annual electricity usage.
A huge thanks to the Government’s Swimming Pool Support Fund via Sport England and the Cheltenham Zero Business Grant for their financial contributions. We’ll be raising additional funds throughout 2024 to support this project.

We’d like to thank everyone who supported our planning application by writing letters of support, with special thanks going to Rappor, All Ecology, MHP Arboriculture, Jeremy Lake, Cotswold Energy and especially SF Planning, who’ve again impressively guided our application through the planning process and Cheltenham Borough Council for awarding us the permissions required to implement the project.
