A Lido for everyone
Cheltenham Lido in Cheltenham is committed to making the facilities accessible to all visitors, regardless of their additional access needs. Much of the facilities were built in the 1930s, but they have since been adapted to improve accessibility and ensure that everyone can enjoy the lido.
The Tust has made the following adaptions to aid accessibility to all our users;
- Ramped access to the toilets and changing rooms, making it easier to access these facilities.
- Ramped access to the cafe
- Accessible changing and shower cubicle in both male and female indoor changing rooms. These are a coded cubicles – Please ask for the code at reception on arrival at the Lido
- The main pool also has a hoist available on right hand side of the pool to assist those with mobility issues in and out of the water.
If you require the use of the hoist or any other accessibility features, please do not hesitate to ask one of the staff members. They will be happy to assist you and ensure that your visit is comfortable and enjoyable.
