Accessibility at Cheltenham Lido

A Lido for everyone

At Cheltenham Lido, we are committed to making our facilities as accessible and welcoming as possible for all visitors. While much of our site was built in the 1930s, we have made a number of adaptations to improve accessibility and ensure that everyone can enjoy their time with us.

Step-Free & Ramped Access

  • Ramped access to toilets and changing rooms

  • Ramped access to the café

Changing & Shower Facilities

  • Accessible changing and shower cubicles available in both male and female indoor changing rooms

  • Coded entry for these cubicles — please ask at reception on arrival

  • Supportive features such as grab rails and extra space for ease of use

Pool Access

  • A hoist is available on the right-hand side of the main pool to assist visitors with mobility needs in and out of the water

  • Staff are always happy to assist with the hoist or any other accessibility features to ensure your visit is safe and enjoyable

🐾 Coming to Dog Swim this weekend? Here’s what you need to know!

A few important reminders before you and your pup arrive:

🐶 Harnesses are strongly advised - particularly if you’re not entering the water, so you can safely help your dog out of the pool and reduce the risk of claw injuries.

🦮 Dogs must be kept on leads when walking around site and when not entering the water.

🚿 Please shower your dog after their swim due to the chlorine products used in the pool. Showers are available, but dogs are not permitted inside the indoor changing rooms.

💩 Bring poo bags and please use the correct general waste bins - not recycling.

🎟️ TICKET UPDATE: All morning sessions are now SOLD OUT, with very limited afternoon availability across the weekend.

⚠️ This is a PRE-BOOKED EVENT ONLY - there will be no walk-ins on the day.

    See you this weekend! 🐾💦
